Symbols Endure, Meaning Evolves

Shir o Khorshid lion and sun symbol representing Persian heritage
The Origin

The Lion and Sun

Historically known as Shir o Khorshid,  stands at the beginning of our journey. While lion and solar motifs appear in Persian history and mythology for over two millennia, the combined emblem in its recognisable form emerged roughly 800 years ago, evolving across dynasties, artistic movements, and interpretations.

More than an emblem, it has represented identity, continuity, and cultural expression across generations.

Our Story

We are a UK-based apparel brand focused on translating historic symbols into modern streetwear with clarity and restraint. Our approach is intentional, structured silhouettes, minimal compositions, and symbolism treated with respect rather than excess.

We do not replicate history, we reinterpret it.

In a landscape saturated with disposable graphics, we believe cultural symbols deserve thoughtful treatment. These icons are not trends. They are visual histories, shaped over centuries and embedded within collective memory. Our responsibility is to present them in a way that feels modern without erasing their depth.

Restraint is deliberate, meaning is intentional.

Our Future

Our Purpose

Beyond apparel, our goal is to contribute to awareness and understanding of historic Persian symbols, where they originate, how they evolved, and the cultural influence they have carried across time.

Through editorial content and future publications, we aim to explore their artistic transformation and enduring relevance.

We design the garments.
We also honour the legacy.

Core Values

Our Principles

  • Cultural Respect
We approach historic Persian symbols with understanding and context. Each design begins with meaning, not decoration.
  • Intentional Design
Restraint is deliberate. We prioritise clarity, balance, and structure so symbolism remains central, never excessive.
  • Modern Reinterpretation
We do not replicate the past, we translate it. Heritage is adapted into contemporary form with purpose and precision across garments such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, headwear and smaller accessories.
